It’s all about Groove and SharePoint Workspace

I was informed on January, 1th that my MVP title was renewed. Thanks to everyone who – directly or indirectly – contributed to provide me with this award for a 4th consecutive year!

SharePoint Workspace 2010, part of the Office 2010 professional plus edition, is now available! There’s a lot of buzz around the product, not only because it is a major release for former Groove 2007 users, but also because it is the new companion for SharePoint users.

In the first weeks of 2010, I had the opportunity to write 2 articles focused on SharePoint Workspace.

Microsoft SharePoint Conference take place this week at Las Vegas.

Microsoft France just published a new wesite dedicated to technologies usages. Of course, you will discover some use cases dedicated to Groove. More details there (in french): http://www.groovons.org/2009/01/19/le-centre-des-usages-microsoft/

From Feb 10th to Feb 12th, Microsoft TechDays 2009 will take place at Paris. 3 days to discover new Microsoft technologies and products. Of course, it will be a good opportunity to learn more about Groove :

- Hommes & Process will have a booth on the collaboration & communication village. Demonstrations and Q/A about Groove usages and architecture are on the agenda. You will discover new versions of our GrooveIT! products.

- The French Speaking Groove Community will also have its own booth. The right place to discover Groove and exchange tips and tricks on the best way to use the product.

- Finally, I will be speaker on 2 sessions dedicated to Groove. The first one will focus on Dev and Integration capabilities provided by Groove technologies. The second one will be more usages driven. I will illustrate some use case and demo how Groove can be integrated more other products.
