She attends Microsoft TechDays 2009: Share, Groove & Win!

Fabrice BARBIN | 02:12 PM | 02:12 PM

Share, Groove & Win !We announced it few days ago…

She attends Microsoft TechDays 2009!

Who?

The groovy idol of “Share, Groove and Win” contest of course !

During Microsoft TechDays 2009 at Paris, visit us on Hommes & Process, Open Portal and French Speaking Groove Community booths. Answer few questions on each booth and you will maybe be selected for the draw. A lot of prizes to win!

Behind the “contest” approach, “Share, Groove & Win” is also interesing by the way it will be managed, using a software. We developed this by using WPF on Microsoft Expression Blend and Visual Stutio and store, gather and synchronize data coming from all the booths by using Groove !

This creation – with its playful approach – demonstrates again benefits provided by Groove  to create distributed applications and synchronize team member’s information.

Of course, we also used Groove to prepare this contest (materials discussion between partners, …)!

MVP award renewed

Fabrice BARBIN | 10:36 PM | 10:36 PM

Groove MVPI just received an email informing me that my MVP award is renewed.
A great way for me to start 2009…
Thanks to those who – directly or indirectly – contributed to that!

 What’s a MVP?
Here is the answer: (Source : http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/?LN=en-us)

Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) are exceptional technical community leaders from around the world who are awarded for voluntarily sharing their high quality, real world expertise in offline and online technical communities. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts that represents the technical community’s best and brightest, and they share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others.

MVPs represent a broad spectrum of Microsoft product users. They occupy many different professions including accountants, teachers, artists, engineers and technologists. MVPs reside in over 90 countries, represent 30 different languages, and cover more than 90 Microsoft technologies.

MVPs tend to be early adopters of new technology and actively communicate their experiences to millions of other technology users. Through their extensive community activity, MVPs help others solve problems and discover new capabilities, helping people get the maximum value from their technology.
